Our Top Three Pointless Smart-Devices

With this year drawing to a swift close, and with our refreshed objectives of purpose-driven product design, successfully executed, highlighted through this article are products that slightly contrast this intention. Connecting a device to an application certainly has its perks, however, the question has to be asked when observing some of these devices, is this additional feature completely necessary? Its seems as if many new ‘smart-devices ‘have been created simply for the sake of it and that the addition of an application adds very little value or purpose to product.

ITERATE takes on Movember

This month the team at ITERATE are taking part in Movember, an annual event that takes place in the month of November and includes growing a moustache in order to raise funds for men’s health. This year, we have decided to focus on men’s mental health, a topic the team feel really passionate about generating awareness around. With the design engineering sector being heavily male orientated, we feel obliged to use the platform of Movember to show case our support and raise as much funds as possible to help this fantastic organization.

We are Excited to Welcome Louise Murphy to ITERATE

I am thrilled to be starting a new venture with ITERATE Design + Innovation as their Marketing & Sales Executive. I am really excited to take on this role and make it my own through a new marketing strategy that has an engaging and creative edge. New Junior Design Engineer Joins ITERATE

Having followed the work that ITERATE Design + Innovation have produced since starting university in 2017, I am delighted to join such an amazing team as a Junior Product Design Engineer. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be given this opportunity straight out of university, having graduated from the MSc Product Design course at Cardiff Metropolitan University this year.  I also completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Product Design (Hons) at Cardiff Met and absolutely loved my time there.
