We are Excited to Welcome Louise Murphy to ITERATE

I am thrilled to be starting a new venture with ITERATE Design + Innovation as their Marketing & Sales Executive. I am really excited to take on this role and make it my own through a new marketing strategy that has an engaging and creative edge. Most of my previous experience has been within sales, so the marketing aspect of this position will be a fantastic challenge for me. However, through meeting the friendly and motivated team, I believe I will be supported and inspired every step of the way!

My background in Fine Art will enable me to capture a clients idea and help transform this passion in to a product that resonates with the target audience. I believe the process of creating an art piece, which is then exhibited at a site or online, reflects the design process used at ITERATE when developing new products.

In 2019, I completed a degree in Fine Art at Art University Bournemouth and have since been searching to translate this creative background into my professional career. Alongside and after my degree, I participated in various exhibitions ranging from the ‘Free Range’ exhibition at the Truman Brewery in London to the ‘Pandemic Art Show’ with South Devon College, which used an online platform. I believe the process of creating an art piece, which is then exhibited at a site or online, reflects the design process used at ITERATE when developing new products. For example, transforming a clients’ idea and passion into a product that is then exhibited to the public whilst attempting to reach a target audience, and communicating this original vision effectively. My past experiences have provided me with a sound level of understanding of how to communicate with clients and appreciate their project expectations.

Having previously worked for an Illustrator at her studio store in Bath, I generated various forms of content for her Instagram page, as well as producing a promotional video for her YouTube channel – this content was later used to represent her business at the Rural Business Awards. This past experience is something I would like to inject into my role at ITERATE and create valuable new content for the companies’ social media platforms, contributing to the long-term growth plans of the business.
