ITERATE WELCOMES EUROPEAN INTERN, SIMON PREVOST

Simon is in his last year of a Master’s degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard, France.

He completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2017 at the Institute of Technology of Limousin, where he developed a strong technical background on the whole steps of design and industrialisation of mechanical products. This diploma allowed him to join the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard with the aim of acquiring industrial design skills in addition to mechanical engineering. Thus, he learnt how to integrate human factors at the heart of the design, with the aim of developing innovative products that are more suited to the needs of the user.

He had the opportunity to undertake a 2-month internship after his bachelor degree in a packaging company, where he accompanied the R&D team to optimise a complex conveying system by researching technical solutions, and a 6-month internship in a 3D-ceramic printing company, where he was in charge of designing the protective case of a printing machine.

Simon will be at ITERATE over the next 6 months and help support the multitude of complex engineering design projects we are currently working to deliver.
