Expertise.

A close-knit team of designers, engineers and strategic thinkers.
Together, we can bring your product idea to life.

Early Beginnings.

After spending 10 years as a Product Design Engineer working for a number of well-known manufacturing companies, Gethin Roberts founded ITERATE in early 2014. Whilst in industry, Gethin noticed that big businesses were slow to respond to the needs of their customers; adopt new ways of working and leverage emerging technologies to create better outcomes. From there, Gethin set-out to build a team capable of accelerating the time it takes to design and launch new products by understanding the viability of any new idea – even before embarking on the development journey.

Reputable Growth.

At the centre of ITERATE lies our Rapid Product Development Pathway; whether you want to work with us to design an award winning consumer product, or a game changing medical device – we will walk you through a series of stages so that we can achieve the best outcome for your business. This transparent approach to product design has led us to work with the Welsh Government and multiple Universities to deliver innovation support programmes – as well as companies of all sizes to help them reimagine new product experiences for their customers.

Future Aspirations.

Having obtained ISO 9001 & 13485 accreditation, which demonstrates our commitment to delivering a quality design service at an international level, we are seeking to develop equally high quality business relationships with organisations at home and overseas. If you’re a start-up that’s just received its first round of funding or a large business who wants to benefit from the agility of working with an external consultancy – we would love to discuss how we could accelerate your growth.

Gethin Roberts

Managing Director

Founded at Gethin’s kitchen table, our CEO has dedicated this past decade towards moulding ITERATE into the successful, reputable company that it is today. Possessing an MSc in Rapid Product Development, Gethin worked for a range of manufacturing companies including Frontier Medical, Tyco Waterworks and ElectronicaUK prior to establishing ITERATE. When Gethin takes his mind away from the office, he enjoys being active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Training at the gym, jetting off on snowboarding holidays and most importantly capturing quality time with his young family – is how he seeks his down time.

Chris Tyler

Product Design Manager

From Dyson, to Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and now ITERATE, Chris has a wealth of experience when it comes to working within the product design industry. Achieving a BSc (Hons) in Product Design Technology, our Product Design Manager previously developed a range of innovative hair dryer attachments that went on to be patent protected. Chris also led the implementation of our ISO 9001 & 13485 quality management systems at ITERATE. A believer in creating a positive work-life balance, when Chris is not hard at work or with his baby daughter, you will most likely find him out on the green, club in hand, enjoying the company of other golfers.

Matt Beamish

Advanced Design Engineer

Fresh out of Loughborough University with a BEng (Hons) in Product Design Engineering, Matt brought his creative design flair straight to ITERATE – and how grateful we are that he did! With a calm, self-motivated work ethic, Matt utilises his skills to develop exemplary products; such as an eco-friendly shower head, which won a European Product Design Award in 2021. Matt’s talents also extend beyond the workplace to the football pitch, where he is both a keen player and supporter. However, if Matt isn’t watching football or Formula 1 car racing, he may be out walking his adorable dog Biscuit.

Robert Riley

Product Design Engineer

Rob knew from a young age he was interested in making things. Instead of playing with toys as a child, he admitted to being more interested in modifying them! Now, with a Transportation Design degree, along with a Masters degree in Industrial Design & Technology, Rob is one of our hugely talented Product Design Engineers. Along with a passion for design, Rob also had desires to live and work abroad. So, prior to starting at ITERATE, Rob taught English in South Korea for three years. Now back in the UK, when he’s not working on projects, Rob can often be found outdoors – hiking, climbing and exploring the South West.

Jenni Manning

Business Development Executive

Equipped with a BA (Hons) degree in Tourism and Business Management, along with a PGCE in Primary Education, Jenni brings an array of transferable skills to the role of Business Development Executive. For part of her career, Jenni successfully managed and marketed a Preschool in Bristol, and is now leveraging these tools and knowledge to market the ITERATE brand. Jenni’s second, equally as important role, is being a mother to two young boys; meaning life outdoors is a necessity! Weekends will be spent as a family down the beach, or exploring the Monmouthshire countryside come rain or shine, with a warm coffee in hand!

David Cottle

Design Operations Consultant

David has 35 years’ experience in design consultancy working with clients across a spectrum of industries including, Medical, Pharma and Consumer. Following his position as Design Operations Director with a leading consultancy he now works as an independent advisor and has been supporting ITERATE for the last two years with operational activities, including the implementation of a rigorous management system to help achieve ISO accreditation.
